Hitachi fault codes for sensor on excavator

All the sensors of the excavator are in use, there will be wear, and there will be some failures. However, most of the faults are small ones, and some error code prompts will appear at the same time. If we don’t understand the error codes of these sensors, it is just a small problem, which will take a lot of time. So it is important for us to know some error codes of Hitachi excavator sensors. 1, ECM sensor system fault code fault reason

636-2 Camshaft angle sensor is abnormal (no signal). Although the crank signal appears, the cam signal does not appear.

636-2 Camshaft angle sensor abnormal (signal abnormal) cam signal pulse mismatch.

723-2 Crank speed sensor is abnormal (no signal). Although crank signal appears, cam signal does not appear.

Affected control: (1) stick regeneration control (2) accessory flow control (3) swing alarm control

The working symptoms of the machine when the fault occurs: (1) the speed of the combined stick retraction and swing operation stick is slow (2) if the machine is equipped with a swing alarm and the swing alarm is working, the swing alarm will sound continuously.

Remarks: (1) check the harness (2) replace the swing pilot pressure sensor

Fault code: 11301-4

Problem: swing pilot pressure sensor low pressure abnormal

Fault cause: voltage less than 0.25V

Affected control: (1) stick regeneration control (2) accessory flow control (3) swing alarm control

The working symptoms of the machine when the fault occurs: (1) the speed of the combined stick retraction and swing operation stick is slow (2) if the machine is equipped with a swing alarm and the swing alarm is working, the swing alarm will sound continuously.

Remarks: (1) check the harness (2) replace the swing pilot pressure sensor

Fault code: 11301-3

Fault problem: boom lift pilot pressure sensor high pressure abnormal fault cause: voltage 4.75V or above

Affected control: (1) HP mode control (2) stick regeneration control (3) excavator regeneration control (4) automatic power lift control (5) accessory flow control

Operating symptoms of the machine when the fault occurs: (1) boom lifting speed does not increase when HP is under control; (2) stick retraction and boom lifting combined operation stick speed is slow

Remarks: (1) check harness (2) replace boom lift pilot pressure sensor

Fault code: 11301-4

Problem: boom lift pilot pressure sensor low pressure abnormal

Cause of fault: voltage below 0.25V

Affected controls: (1) HP mode control (2 stick regeneration control (3) excavator regeneration control (4) automatic power lift control (5) accessory flow control

Operating symptoms of the machine when the fault occurs: (1) boom lifting speed does not increase when HP is under control; (2) stick retraction and boom lifting combined operation stick speed is slow

Remarks: (1) check harness (2) replace boom lift pilot pressure sensor
